9--- The most important quality for an investor is temperament, not intellect. You don’t need tons of IQ in this business. You don’t have to be able to play three-dimensional chess or duplicate bridge. You need a temperament that derives great pleasure neither from being with the crowd nor against the crowd. You know you’re right, not because of the position of others but because your facts and your reasoning are right.

一個投資人最重要的是性情，而不是智力，你在這一行裡不需要有很高的智商，不需要會下三度空間棋，也不需要會打正式橋牌。你的性情必須能夠讓你得到很大的快樂，但那種快樂不是來自於你和人群志同道合或背道而馳。你知道自己是對的，不是因為別人同意你，而是因為你掌握的事實和你的推理過程是正確的。

10---I’d rather have a ten-million-dollar business making 15 percent than a hundred-million-dollar business making 5 percent. I have other places I can put the money.

我寧可選擇一家市值一千萬，獲利百分之十五的公司，也不一要一家市值一億，獲利百分之五的公司。這樣一來我才能把錢投資到別的地方。
